I'm writing in reference to the forth coming fourth BEN TV DIPLOMATIC AWARDS 2012 to be held at the Hilton Park lane Hotel on the 23 November 2012.


The night will recognise and celebrate the diplomatic achievements made within the African, Caribbean, and Asia and Pacific missions in the UK and abroad. Missions and institutions will be awarded in the following categories:


· Diaspora growth, development and involvement


· Good customer service at the High commission/embassy/institution


· Promoting country’s image abroad


· Economic diplomacy


· Country’s Human Development
Other categories to be awarded are:
Diplomat of the year from Africa, Caribbean and Pacific 2012
Diplomat of the Year from the Americas
Deputy Head of mission of the year
Distinguished services and resources to Diplomacy
Project achievement award 2012
Africa ambassador’s Award 2012
Social Responsibility Award 2012
Development ambassador’s Award 2012


Sir , the purpose of this letter to kindly let you know that you have won an award in the category of :PROJECT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2012

Having started the now biggest blog in Tanzania
The blog has been the bridge between communities and has enlightened the general public about especially the workings of the Government
Diplomacy has been served well through your blog
The Diaspora has been brought together as one through your blog
Your office’s supporting the efforts to stabilise the situation in Libya
Through your blog Tanzanians and the world have witnessed and followed the Promotion of national reconciliation and facilitate the transitional process towards democratic institutions in cooperation with international partners
In conclusion , the management of BEN TV has decided to award a Post homous award of THE ORDER OF KILIMANJARO to Melesi Zenawi.The esteemed award of the Order of Kilimanjaro is an African ritual of commendation and recognition of the exceptional contribution of a chosen individual toward the advancement of the human race.
The Order of Kilimanjaro is the highest honor to be bestowed on anyone by indigenous Africans resident in the United Kingdom.
The presentation of the Order of Kilimanjaro shall showcase the rich traditions and culture of the African Diaspora. An investiture with the Order of Kilimanjaro is comparable with the coronation of a Chieftain in certain parts of the continent of Africa. This year's elaborate and colourful ceremony shall feature rituals specially arranged by Ethiopia tradition
The investiture with the Order of Kilimanjaro shall culminate in the presentation of a staff of office, specially hand-crafted from Africa. This staff shall serve as a proud symbol of excellence and the attributes of a true human being dedicated to the dignity of humanity.
The theme of this year’s event is :NO WOMAN SHOULD DIE WHILE GIVING LIFE
